Things happen on the water and fishing in the ocean can be inherently dangerous. While we don’t anticipate extreme conditions during August in Santa Cruz, we require every participant to read the liability waiver below and by checking the box that you agree to terms and conditions on your registration, you agree to the following waiver.

During The Doormat Derby officials and volunteers will be taking pictures and shooting videos of participants. By checking the box that you agree to the terms and conditions on your registration, you agree that we can use your name, pictures, and likeness in the promotion of future Doormat Derbies and affiliated events. Any photos or videos that show boat registration numbers will be obscured before being published. Thank you very much!
